Hello!

 

I'm the Special Education and Physical Education teacher at Glenwood Elementary. I started my career in 2004 as a special education teacher in Alda, NE for two years. From there I started teaching special education in Kearney for numerous schools around the Kearney area, Kenwood and Park Elementary. I then had an opportunity to teach physical education in 2013 at Northeast and Glenwood Elementary. As changes evolved in our school district, I then moved into my current position. I feel very fortunate to have the different roles of teaching Special Education and Physical Education, providing me the opportunity to teach two areas that I absolutely love!

 

I began my teaching career in 2004. I attended University of Nebraska at Kearney for my bachelors and masters degrees. My husband and I have lived in Kearney, Ne since 2003. We have a two sons and a daughter who are involved in numerous activities and sports, which keep us very busy! In our free time we love to spend time with family and friends, golf and catch some lake time whenever possible.

 

I look forward to a great year at Glenwood! Although we may be faced with challenges, I'm very confident that Glenwood will strive to provide the very best education possible for each student.
