Staff Appreciation Thank You

Glenwood staff would like to take this opportunity to say "Thank you" to GCO and all the parents and students who made us feel so appreciated. We were humbled and amazed by the kindness and generosity shown during staff appreciation week. Thank you for the coffee bar, breakfast, snacks and lunch. It was an incredible gesture of kindness, and we really enjoyed all the food and drinks. Glenwood staff certainly 'felt the love.'

Her teacher, Mr. Hughett, and others used the words "conscientious, considerate, compassionate, driven, determined and caring" when describing Emersyn's characteristics that qualified her for this. Art Class The Making of a Portrait

“Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.” ― Pablo Picasso Step by step, Mrs. Beucke led kindergarten through the drawing of a portrait, while incorporating art terms and kindergarten speculation about why we have eyelashes! Did you know that eyes are actually positioned half way down, in the middle part of our face? It is all extremely interesting! Pictured are kindergarten and also second grade.

What's Up In PE

It's always a good time in PE class. Whether it's playing tag, hockey, bowling or jumping rope, the students always look forward to fun times with Mrs. Swarm leading the way and often participating with them. Pictured are a couple short videos of students practicing a new skill with jump ropes.
