Welcome!

Hello, I am Jennifer (Jen) Riedel. I will be starting my 22nd year in education and my 6th year with KPS. I have previously been a Special Education Teacher and a School Counselor for various districts within Nebraska. Our family moved to Kearney in 2016 and we love it here! I am married to Dean and we have three children:  Emma who is a junior at UNK, Eli who is a freshman at FHSU, and Eryn who is a freshman at KHS. I also have two dogs named Cora and Jasper. 

I enjoy traveling and spending time with my family. 

 

My role at school is to assist and support all staff, students, and families when needs arise. I love to help problem-solve, work as a team, and provide support for others. I am only a phone call or email away if you need to contact me. I look forward to working with all staff, students, and families as we begin the 2020-2021 school year!
